🎸 Band Days

Like many musicians, my journey started with a guitar. As a kid growing up in a small town in southern Germany, I was fascinated by rock, punk, and metal bands. Playing music wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way to make a statement and connect with people.

I started with professional guitar lessons at a young age and quickly transitioned to the electric guitar, diving headfirst into the world of garage bands. Throughout my teenage years, I played in various bands with schoolmates and friends. It was during these formative years that I discovered the joy of creating something unique as a team.

We played local gigs, recorded some demos, and even made video recordings of our sessions. These experiences taught me about the importance of collaboration and the creative process behind making music.

🎤 Recording an Album

After moving to Stuttgart for my studies, I founded a more serious band called Hate This Journey. This marked a turning point in my musical career — our goal was to create original, complex metal music that stood out.

In 2020, we decided to record our first album. This process was both challenging and rewarding. Partway through the recording sessions, we lost our rehearsal space and had to move everything into a raw, unfinished storage building. It wasn’t the most glamorous setup, but it worked!

We recorded all the tracks ourselves, but for mixing and post-production, we partnered with a professional producer. This experience opened my eyes to the possibilities of music production beyond just playing instruments.

The album is still available on Spotify, and I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished with limited resources. We also played numerous gigs and participated in band contests, which taught me a lot about performing under pressure and working with other creatives.

🎛️ Music Production

After the album, I became fascinated with the production side of music. I realized that creating a great track is about more than just recording — it’s about crafting a unique sound and telling a story through music.

In 2020, the world changed with COVID, and like many musicians, I faced challenging times. But instead of giving up, I used the time to dive deeper into music production.

I moved to Amsterdam, a city that has always fascinated me, and started experimenting with Cubase, my go-to DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). Having a background in guitar and band recordings helped me understand the technical side of production, but mastering a DAW was a whole new challenge — one I quickly fell in love with.

I spent countless hours learning how to produce electronic music, experimenting with different sounds, and pushing my creativity to new levels.

🎙️ Valarize

In late 2024, I launched my artist project, Valarize, as a way to explore my own musical ideas and release tracks that reflect my personal sound.

I’ve already released my second single, which I’m proud to say I produced entirely on my own. Creating music as Valarize allows me to explore bass-heavy electronic tracks and push the boundaries of my creativity.

But Valarize is just one part of my musical journey. My true passion lies in helping other artists bring their ideas to life through professional music production.

With my growing experience in production, I decided to take a bold step:

That’s when I launched peakaudiobyrob, a music production company offering:

• Custom Music Production for artists, creators, and businesses

• Ghost Production for musicians who need tracks but want to remain anonymous

• Sound Design and Mixing to help polish your sound

Through peakaudiobyrob, I aim to create unique, high-quality tracks that fit each client’s vision. Whether it’s a custom beat, a remix, or a full track production, I’m here to bring your ideas to life with professional, tailored music.

My mission is simple: to help artists and creators tell their stories through sound and make their projects stand out in a crowded industry.
